While it is most commonly known that Poseidon was the God of the oceans and the seas, a lesser-known attribute is his creation of horses. In an attempt to gain patronage from the people of Athens, Poseidon struck a rock with his Trident and created Skyphios - a beautiful horse and a gift to the mankind.

This soap is split into two distinct regions: the rock and the sea. The dark layers represent the rock struck by Poseidon, and the fresh-smelling layers of blue symbolize the horse, Skyphios, emerging from the waves.
