Our Epic
Although chaos is most often synonymous with disorder and confusion, we like to think that there is beauty in life's imperfect moments. With such busy schedules and packed agendas, it is easy to succumb to the negativity of chaos in our everyday lives. However, in Greek mythology Khaos is a primordial void; a powerful and peaceful state of being that existed before the creation of the universe.
Through this lens, we see that Khaos is a blank slate - a canvas from which ideas can bloom and creativity can grow. Thus, Khaos Soapology does not fear the unknown and the unorderly. Rather, we welcome it.

When Hayley is not making soap, she is busy conducting research as a Biomedical Engineering Grad Student at U of R. She enjoys crafts of all sorts, video games, and learning the Japanese language.
In addition to soapmaking, Shelby practices aerial arts and loves to sing karaoke! She works in the hospitality design industry as a sustainable interior designer.
